Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been sucked back into the world of Kpop once again.

SEVENTEEN is a Kpop group of 13 boys whose names I constantly fail to remember. They’re called SEVENTEEN (definitely not because they used to have 17 members) because 13 members + 3 sub-groups + 1 group altogether = 17.

I got into SEVENTEEN after taking one of those Who’s Your Kpop Soulmate? quizzes. My result was The8 and I thought he looked cute so I did a bit of research and came upon this.

The8 pulled me into SEVENTEEN, and now he’s keeping me there.

And now, a mini collage.

Winter 2016-What I’m Watching

Since we’re about halfway through this season, I wanted to list the four series I’ve decided to watch. I don’t usually try to keep up with currently airing shows, but there were some that I wanted to watch so this is what I ended up with.

1. Haikyu!! 3rd Season

I picked up the first two seasons of Haikyuu in order to prepare for this one, and I am certainly not disappointed. It is a bit harder to watch when there’s only one episode a week, which slightly disrupts the flow from episode to episode. Haikyuu does an excellent job making you eager for the next episode, and even though I know how the season will end, I still find myself on the edge of my seat during some seriously epic moves. Gah, sports anime always gets me.

2. Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love Legend Star

In short, the fourth season (how did it make four, you have to wonder) is pretty much the same as all the others. I’m not really sure why I keep watching it, after all, Ai isn’t going to be in this season that much. I just like laughing at how corny this show can get. The plotline of this season, which basically has every member of STARISH pair up with a member of HEAVENS to sing a song, get slightly repetitive over time. I’ll keep watching it because I want to see the animation for STARISH’s song.

3. Watashi ga Motete Dousunda (Kiss Him, Not Me)

I’m a little upset because there were many arcs from the manga that weren’t shown in the anime, including the arrival of Mutsumi’s brother and everyone’s confession to Kae. Those  were my favorite parts and it’s unfortunate that they weren’t included. The most recent episode (The Fujosji Dispute) was pretty amusing, especially since I’ve had that argument with my friends before (She said Izaya X Shizuo, I said Shizuo X Izaya, we agreed to disagree).

4. Yuri!!! on Ice

My favorite show this season, and possibly of all time, is definitely Yuri!!! on Ice. It has everything I look for in an anime, including:

  • Sports (which is incredibly well animated)
  • Cute boys (the style is really pretty, Victor is my personal favorite)
  • Yaoi (LOADS of it)

It isn’t officially tagged shounen-ai or anything, but just seeing how Yuri and Victor act around each other, anyone would think they’re in love.

I’m the more hyped for the next episode of Yuri!!! on Ice than any of the other shows I’m watching. I’ve probably screamed more in the fifth episode than any other show. I already want there to be a second season, and I think there will be due to the amount of popularity the show has gotten. It’s not based off of anything, so I don’t believe that anyone really knows what’s going to happen other than the staff. Also, if you change the lyrics of the opening song from “We were born to make history” to “We were born to ship Victuri”, it fits in perfectly. AHHHHH I SHIP THEM SO HARD THAT’S A NEW OTP RIGHT THERE!!!

I like Victor a lot a lot…

That’s all for now. I’ll post once the season ends!

Well, well, well, That Insane Haikyuu!! Trash has finally posted.

Sorry not sorry

I started watching Haikyuu!! way back in- what was it- April. My friend had been telling me that it was so good, that I had to watch it, but I was in the middle of bingeing Kuroko no Basket at the time so I wasn’t able to keep it up. I had also stumbled upon a picture of Yuuji Terushimh, but upon learning that he only was in two episode of the second seaoson. I decided to quickly skim those episodes and take screenshots but stop after that (which I did, see Enjoyment). Then, once I saw that the third season of Haikyuu was coming out this season, I decided to watch the first two seasons to see what the hype was about. And I was certainly not disappointed.

Summary: In middle school, Shoyo Hinata decides that he wants to become a volleyball player but is immediately crushed by the so-called “King of the Court,” Tobio Kageyama. Not yet discouraged, Hinata joins the volleyball team at Karasuno High School in order to defeat Kageyama. However, Kageyama has also come to Karasuno and they are now stuck on the same team. Despite their contrasting personalities, the two’s abilities fit hand in hand and they become a powerful duo.

Art: I’ve heard mixed reviews of the art, and I believe that at some times the art is better than others. Half of the characters are really cute, the others… not so much.

Ugh dang it why do I love him so much

Sound: Every time the sound of a volleyball getting blocked hits my ears it affects me so much. I don’t know how they did it, but it sounds really real and gets a reaction out of me. Theme songs are what you’d expect from a sports anime, pretty much.

In other words, 10000000/10. Even minor characters that are only in a couple episodes are given a back story that connects you to them. You can’t exactly think of the opposing team as an enemy after seeing how hard they’ve been training to get to the match. Some of my favorites were Tooru Oikawa, Yuuji Terushima, Lev Haiba, and Kei Tsukishima. Bokuto and Kuroo were also very likable, I hope to see more of them in future episodes.

Oya oya?

Yeah… I think it’s pretty clear that I have become complete Haikyuu trash now… *goes to worship Oikawa shrine*

Score: An easy 10/10. No downsides.

But wait! There’s one more category…

Bromance scale: 60/100 Points for Bokuto and Kuroo, but otherwise the bromance is kept at a minimum and shippers must make a effort to find ship-worthy content. The following is a list of ships me and my friend put together:

  • Kageyama X Hinata (obviously)
  • Oikawa X Iwaizumi (IWA-CHAN!!!!)
  • Daichi X Suga (she really loves this one)
  • Kuroo X Kenma
  • Kuroo X Bokuto
  • Bokuto X Akaashi
  • Lev X Kuroo
  • Lev X Kenma
  • Tsukishima X Yamagughi
  • Kuroo X Tsukishima
  • Asahi X Nishinoya
  • Tanaka X Nishinoya
  • Oikawa X Kageyama

I’ll stop there.

There will definitely be more Haikyuu!! from this blog in the future…

Like many people these days, I have become fixated on YouTube and its videos. I’d like to share a few of my favorite channels here!

Danisnotonfire (Dan Howell) and AmazingPhil (Phil Lester)

Yet another phangirl right here! My friend recently linked me to Dan’s “Anime Will Ruin Your Life” video and after that I couldn’t stop watching them. I do ship Phan, but I’m not a really big fan of it (a bit more minor, but I still like the pairing).

Various Yaoi Studios (DreaminYaoiStudio, RoyalYaoiStudio, SweetYaoiStudio, 「iBishie-Studio」, you get the idea)

Someday, I would really like to join a studio, but all of the editing programs I have right now are crap. I really enjoy all the AMV/MEPs that these groups get out and it’s cool to see everyone’s clips put together into one massive video. I’m forgetting a bunch of other studios I watch because that would take way to long to list!

Come to the Lair of the first publicly known super villain, Pretty Grumpy Bear! No, but really, this girl is more hilarious than she thinks she is. PGB mostly does Yandere Simulator videos, but she has also done a lot of Five Nights at Freddy’s theories that are really interesting. Support a minor YouTuber here!

CDawgVA (Connor Dawg, Voice Actor)

CDawgVA is a really talented voice actor! He recreates the voices of Sebastian (Black Butler), Kyoya (OHSHC), Claude (Black Butler), Shizuo (Durarara!!), Asgore (Undertale), Mettaton (Undertale), Tsukiyama (Tokyo Ghoul), and others. He also does a lot of videos with his friends CielStar and Nullify101 VA, whom I absolutely love.

I really dunno, the guy is crazy, and it’s so entertaining to me. He used to do a lot of Minecraft videos but switched to anime one or two years ago. Shine got a million subscribers a month ago, yay! His artwork is done by Kat, his kawaii little assistant.

Honorable Mentions:

  • CUTLoveRx (No longer active 😦 )
  • nigahiga
  • NightcoreReality (Congrats on two million!)
  • TheFatRat
  • YandereDev

I wonder who else likes these guys too…

Creepypasta is a website for horror and paranormal stories, and some of the stories on there are seriously scary. I did my best to write my own summaries of them, so here’s my top 5!

5. Eyeless Jack/Laughing Jack

Eyeless Jack is a boy-turned-killer after he was forced to participate in an occult ritual that resulted in his eyes being removed from his body. He has the routine of most characters, in which he attacks at night but his speciality is that he eats the insides of his victims. Laughing Jack is different in the sense that he doesn’t attack directly but rather hangs out with the child first and gives them his candy before killing them soon later. Even though they both have the name Jack, I believe that they are unrelated.

4. Jeff the Killer

Sadly, the story of Jeff the Killer isn’t written that well with there being many grammatical errors in the text. The idea, though, is quite fascinating. Jeff is a teenager that always got bullied and it began to make him go crazy. One day, he and his brother are attacked and this leads to that and Jeff ends up in the hospital. His skin turned bleached white, his hair black as ash, and his eyes blood red. The next day his mom found Jeff in the bathroom with a knife in his hand. He had cut of his eyelids because “that way he wouldn’t have to sleep” and he carved a smile into his face because “He wanted to smile forever.” He then proceeded to murder his entire family (though there is debate weather hid brother is dead or not.) Be glad I didn’t show you the real picture of Jeff.

3. The Seer of Possibilities

The reasons I like this story are pretty much the same reasons I like my all-time favorite, which is mainly the fact that it messes with your head. In the Seer of Possibilities, a guy goes onto his computer to find instructions to complete a simple task that wouldn’t take any effort on his part. His decision to follow the instructions results in his boss dying and him getting a promotion. The text on his computer introduces itself as the Seer of Possibilities and says that if he follows all of its orders good things will happen to him. The guy continues to do everything the Seer tells him to do and is living a perfect life. The Seer insists that it will never lie to him, but what’s the catch?

2. BEN Drowned

The story of BEN Drowned has stuck with me ever since I first read it. A college student finds a copy of the Legends of Zelda game Majora’s Mask at a garage sale that was given to him for free by an old man. When he first starts playing, he sees that there is a save slot titled BEN but decides to delete it and make his own. The boy begins to get confused when he realizes that the characters in the game were referring to him as “BEN” instead of the name he had inputed, “Link”. A lot of other strange glitches started happening too. He stopped playing momentarily until curiosity got the best of him and he tried again. That’s when he discovered that the game was haunted by BEN, who had drowned and transferred his soul to the game disc. At one point, he receives a link to Cleverbot, a real website that should be for talking to a robot but instead he finds that he is communicating with BEN through the site. I tried using the website to talk to BEN and it actually (somewhat) works! If you say “Ben?” it will respond, “You shouldn’t have done that” which is a quote from the original Creepypasta.

1. Psychosis

The reason I love Psychosis is because there is no terrifying monster that is to be feared but rather your own mind. A guy who hasn’t been outside for days get the urge to talk to someone face to face because he hadn’t seen another human in forever. However, when he looks outside, it’s completely dark and there is no one around. The guy assumes that his clock must have been off and dismisses it. He next tries calling a friend but is called first by an unknown number that simply asks “Who is this?” and, after getting his name, says “Sorry, wrong number” and hangs up. Right after, the guys gets a call from his friend saying that she was at a party and wanted him to come over. He tells her that he can’t, then realizes that this is his chance to see a real person. He tells her where he lives and something inside of him regrets it. Before his friend came, he turned on the security camera he had pointing to the hallway and watched her come and wave at the camera. Unable to shake the feeling of unease, the guy asks the girl to tell him something about them and she says that they met in a park. The guy accepts her response and decides to clean up his place quickly before letting her in. While he is cleaning, he sees that his journal is lying open to the page he wrote about meeting that girl and a camera is pointed directly at it. At that moment, the guy snaps and knows that he isn’t just being paranoid and whatever is out there really isn’t the friend he knew. Ugh, this story hurts my brain.

I didn’t leave any links to the stories because the word “Creepypasta” is related to “copypasta”, a slang for copy and paste. I don’t know which one is the original story so I’d rather not lead anyone to the wrong story. These stories can be found at,, and the Creepypasta Wiki.

Hetalia: Axis Powers

Hetalia certainly has an interesting premise. All the countries of the world are represented as human boys and girls (though mostly boys) and they reenact the World Wars and other events in world history. I have to say, I definitely learned more from this show than any of my history classes. Some things, of course, didn’t happen at all, so it was easy to get confused between the accurate parts and the completely fake ones.

Unlike most shows, I decided to watch Hetalia with English dub. I started watching the first episode with subs, and it became extremely had to figure out who was saying what. I also get the enjoyment of the accents from the dubbed version. Each episode is 5 minutes long and it doesn’t take too long to watch all 50 episodes if you skip the logos and outro song.

Favorite character?

America and Canada!

I honestly can’t choose between the two. Hidekaz Himaruya did such a good job stereotyping America as a hamburger loving, overconfident person that always took credit for everything (and he was cute!). But Canada was so adorable even though he was only in about 4 episodes. I feel so bad for him because no one notices him and his pet bear can’t even remember who he is. I wish I could jump through the screen and hug him!

Favorite ship?

America and England are just so cute together ❤ . After all, England was the one who made little America become America! All of the flashbacks to the American Revolutionary War really hurt though. I also shipped GerIta (Germany X Italy) because it is really canon.

That’s all for today!

Horror anime always sticks with me for some reason. And Another completely nailed it.

Another is about a boy who moves into a new town and enrolls in Yomiyama North’s class 3, which has been under a curse for 26 years. He is immediately interested in Mei Misaki, an eyepatch-wearing girl who doesn’t seem to exist to the rest of the class. But the fact that he is interacting with her causes the curse to begin again and every month, someone connected to the class dies…

I liked the fact that, for almost entire story, the viewer was on the same page as the main character. We didn’t know what was wrong with the class, and we didn’t understand why everyone was ignoring Mei Misaki. The ending was done well – also, I would have never guessed any of that was going to happen. Oh, and now I’m afraid of staircases because of the umbrella scene.

This poor girl ;;

For some reason I started laughing during some of the horror scenes. Either it was nervous laughter, or I’m seriously evil. Some of them were way more gruesome than others (take everything that happened in the hotel, for example, versus the heart attacks). I’m still not sure what the relevance of the dolls were, though. To freak people out?

I thought he was the dead one ><

My favorite character was Tomohiko Kazami, the class officer for class 3. Something about him made me like him a lot, and I was disappointed that he wasn’t very main. I will believe that he survived for now, until I read the novel and know for sure.

Sorry for the big post gap! I’ll just be finishing up some things I dropped in the next week, but a Hetalia: Axis Powers review should come soon.
